Your water heater is one of the most important parts of your plumbing system. We do suggest that you have your water heater checked at least once a year to prevent problems from creeping up on your household. We check and clean your water heater as part of your Comfort Club in the fall. Should you run into a problem with your water heater, don't hesitate to give us a call. We can fix most problems but, if it can't be fixed we can replace it too. We offer several different options for water heaters. There are Tank-less water heaters and tanked water heaters. We also have Power Vent water heaters and the traditionally vented water heaters. Each of these options can be fitted to run on electricity or gas, and they all come in assorted sizes. It's important to talk to your plumber about what kind of water heater is best for your home. Some of the local utilities offer the ability to purchase water heaters directly from them for a discounted price. Your utility company may also offer a rebate on a new water heater. We can help you submit your rebate if it applies to your install. Not all new water heaters will qualify for a rebate; but your technician can help you determine if it does while making the decision on which water heater to install.
Most of us here in central Iowa have sump pumps. The floods of 1993, 2008, and 2010 are all good reminders as to why it's important to make sure they're in good working order. If you are not sure if your sump pump is working correctly, call us and we can come and check. If we find it is not working we can replace it for you.
